Coatings & Finishes

Our in-house finishing capabilities include priming and spray paint finishes of which we have experience of applying Marine quality and Nuclear Industry approved products. Our latest Sand Blasting machine enables us to correctly prepare surfaces for subsequent finishing.

We also have dedicated in-house Chemical Blacking facilities incorporating a complete multi-stage process of degreasing, conditioning, blacking and de-watering.

We recognise that certain finishes require a specialist expertise in order to ensure the highest level of quality and safety. For finishes such as Electroplating, Anodised Aluminium finishing and Galvanising we therefore use only approved local suppliers. Their proximity to W. Christie ensures both a timely service and allows Christie’s to monitor their supplies closely.
