• Pressing of bearings into a king post casting

Problem:

• Replacement of existing, dated system, with modifications and improvements
• Bronze bearings require pressing into the casting with precision
• Reinforcement lugs on the casting are an obstruction

Solution:

• Push plates milled to the contour of the casting for exact fit
• Custom made 10 ton hydraulic cylinder – shorter body required for the unit to fit within the king post
